Five good reasons why youth should read

  " Once you learn to read ,  you will be forever free ." - Frederick Douglass. Many youths do not understand the value of this quote. Many young people have lost interest in reading and don't see any sense in reading. Technology especially social media sites and gaming has taken up crucial time for them to read. The following are five reasons why the youth should read: 1. Memory improvement: According to  edarabia.com, a good practice to improve child memory is by reading a book.  2. To be an expert in a certain field:  reading help teens to become an expert in the area of interest. For example, a young person interested in Finance can become an expert in that area by reading what others have published.   3.
